chrome users, your browser is about to start targeting advertising for you
have fun
this does not necessarily apply to chrome-based browsers but it very well can. ymmv
Click here to get firefox, and once you install it, firefox will ask if you want to import all of your logins, bookmarks and settings from Chrome or whatever else you browsed with.
Then go here to add firefox’s best adblocker:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/Please do not use AdBlock Plus, they sold out years ago and allowed advertisers to “whitelist” certain ads.
uBlock Origin is the correct “best adblocker”
However, there is also AdNauseam which is built atop uBlock and will silently click on every ad it blocks so you can fuck with advertising companies. Essentially, this poisons whatever information profile they’ve built up on you. AdNauseam was even banned on the Google Web Store in 2017, so you can tell it works and that Google fucking HATES IT.

yk what i hate though. is when i find a meme and im like THIS IS SO [cool intimidating mutual i never talk to] I SHOULD SEND IT TO THEM but then i remember ive never talked to them ever and so i cant just like give them a meme out of the blue and so the meme just withers and rots in my camera roll 😔
Reblog if a mutual who’s never spoken to you can randomly send you memes that made them think of you.

Allow me to elucidate, @a-sour-nectarine
When most people “roll their eyes”, they flick their eyes directly upward, usually as far as they comfortably go, then resume looking normally.
When someone who learned the phrase before the behavior does it, they usually go in a circular (ish) motion. Since most eye movements are lines, it’s usually pretty triangular: the key points are usually a diagonal up one way, then to the far other side, then to a diagonal low the first way. Thus, the eyes basically make a loop, so they “rolled”.
I’ve found that when people who learned the up-down way first try the circular motion, they might risk motion sickness, so experiment carefully.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN MOST PEOPLE JUST LOOK UP

Dolphins doing cartwheels with an aquarium guest.
(via Ant.Giovanni)
I’m loving this new trend of people going to zoos and participating in animal enrichment. We use to observe large exotic animals for our entertainment, but the fact is that we are now trying to make ourselves equally as entertaining for them. It’s interactive, completely parpicipatory and I would argue that eventually someone’s gonna come up with something new enough that it expland ethologists understanding about how some animals think, problem solve, communicate and feel and I think its fantastic.
Human: play?
Aquatic creature from an entirely different branch of the animal tree: play!

It’s got to be that can’t-eat, can’t-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, World Series kind of stuff, right? A girl’s got to have her standards.
